FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL!!

By Kavin Caruso

That's right folks, NFL football is rapidly approaching and we need to get ready. What are you doing in preparation for the season? Last year the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 46. Now that we gone through two preseason games already, which team does you think has a shot at winning it all?

The regular season actually starts on September 5, between the NY Giants and the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium. On Monday September 10, there will be two Monday night games. Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens and then later the San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders play that night.

Everyone else will play on Sunday September 9. In Denver, fans are wondering if Peyton Manning will guide the Broncos to the Super Bowl. The question is can Peyton Manning play like he did in Indianapolis? In Indianapolis can Andrew Luck have a sensational season as a rookie quarterback? He played well in college, but can he take the next step in the pros? There are questions in every NFL team this year, but one comes to mind is the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins got a new head coach, his name is Joe Philbin.

The Miami Dolphins drafted Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill in the 1st round. Matt Moore who was the starting quarterback last season for Miami will compete for the starting job. There is no quick answer at quarterback. Reggie Bush had a good season last season with 1,086 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. He will be the main integral in the offense this year.

Too many fans predict who will make the Super Bowl. How many of them actually get them right? Who would've thought that the NY Giants would win the Super Bowl last year? I think most people even thought the Green Bay Packers would win it all again. In the NFL, it's call Any Given Sunday. So with that in mind, anybody has a chance of winning it all.

Football is a good sport despite the injuries that occur on the field. I like the game of football since 1991. Yes, it can be gruesome and gory, but that's what it's about. I like the mean toughness and I also like the way the players run down the field. Whenever there is a long bomb touchdown thrown by the quarterback, it makes it exciting.

So the question remains, are you ready for the NFL season? I know I am.

What do you think?
